Terms of Service
Last updated: August 5, 2026
CVBro is a resume analysis and optimization service. These terms are written in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, write to us at hello@cvbro.ai and we will explain it.
1. The service
CVBro scores your CV against job postings you choose, explains the score with evidence, and generates suggestions and tailored versions of your CV. Scores and suggestions are guidance based on how applicant tracking systems typically work — they are not a promise of interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.
2. Your account
You sign in through our authentication provider. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use CVBro.
3. Your content
Your CV and everything in it remains yours. By uploading it, you give us only the limited permission we need to operate the service for you: parsing it, scoring it against the jobs you add, and generating suggestions and tailored versions at your request. We never sell your content and we never share it with employers or recruiters — only you decide where your CV goes.
4. Honest use
CVBro is built to never invent experience — it only rephrases and surfaces what is really in your CV. You agree to use it the same way: upload only content you have the right to use, and do not use the service to misrepresent who you are or what you have done.
5. Plans and payments
The free plan includes monthly usage limits shown in the app. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (an established merchant of record).
6. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel anytime from your account settings; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and we don't charge again after that. We don't offer refunds for change of mind — the free plan exists so you can try CVBro before you subscribe. If a confirmed technical failure on our side keeps the paid features from working as described, email hello@cvbro.ai within 7 days of your purchase and we'll refund it once we've verified the failure. If your country's law gives you a separate right to cancel a digital subscription shortly after purchase (as EU, UK, and Brazilian consumer law generally do), that right still applies on top of this policy — email hello@cvbro.ai before you've started using the paid features and we'll honor it. Billing, refunds, and chargebacks are handled through our payment processor, an established merchant of record.
7. The service may evolve
CVBro is in active development (open beta). Features may change or be added as the product matures, and the service is provided “as is,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We work hard to keep it reliable, but occasional downtime or errors can happen.
8. Liability and governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVBro is not liable for indirect damages (such as lost opportunities or lost profits) arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of Panama, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Panama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — except where your local consumer-protection law gives you rights that can't be waived, which take precedence.
9. Ending your account
You can delete individual resumes or your whole account at any time from inside the app. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Our intellectual property
CVBro — the software, scoring engine, design, and the CVBro name and logo — belongs to us. Nothing in these terms gives you rights to our intellectual property beyond using the service as intended. Suggestions and tailored versions of your CV that CVBro generates for you are yours to use freely — download them, apply with them, edit them however you like.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
